EDIT: Found it, a week in the past.
I just finished posting a post I have been working on for a few days. Hit publish to opposite lock and...its gone, its not in my drafts, my posts...nothing. GONE! EDIT: turns out it published it about a week ago for no good reason (I started editing it a few days ago) so I found it. My feelings for KINJA haven't changed.

Press the back button a couple of times. And next time, ctrl-a, ctrl-v before hitting 'Publish'.

I feel you pain, bro. If there's a particularly big post I'm planning to write, I will do the text in Word or even in an email, edit it there, and then copy it into Kinja. That way, if Nibbles eats my post, I still have the text. To late for this, but maybe something for the future.

You can jump it to present time if you edit the post time.

I've done that before, and started down that path, but I changed it so many times I didn't bother to do my final revision offline.
